Serve Day - January 21, 2023
This January, we’ll serve and partner with different organizations throughout the City of Lakeland. We’ve listed all of our local partners below, and when you register, you will have the chance to sign up for the project that you want to serve with. Registration is required, and each project has a limited number of spots.
All our teams will meet at our Lakeside Campus for a Serve Day Rally at 8:30 AM, and we will head off to our Serve Locations after our rally!
We can’t wait to serve with you on January 21st from 9:00 AM-12 PM!
Laundry Project
At the Laundry Project, we will be assisting people with their laundry by paying for their loads and making people feel welcomed and valued.
Gospel Town (Gospel, Inc.)
Gospel Inc. is renovating and working on Gospel Town! This team will be painting and doing other outside work projects so come wearing some clothes you don’t mind getting messy!
Lighthouse Ministries
At Lighthouse Ministries, this team will be organizing and sorting clothes and household goods for the Lighthouse Thrift Store.
Talbot House
At the Talbot House, our team will split up into groups to work on campus beautification projects, organizing laundry, and helping clean/renovate the kitchen.
KidsPack
At Kidspack our team will be packing lunch for kids all throughout Lakeland.
Dream Center of Lakeland
At Dream Center of Lakeland, our team will be helping to beautify the grounds by cleaning up outside, cleaning, and landscaping.
One More Child
At One More Child, our team will split into groups to work on some outside beautification projects and also work in the warehouse packing up food boxes.
Parker Street Ministries
Parker Street Ministries helps serve our Lakeland Parker Street community and has a beautiful facility, this team will be helping clean up and landscape the grounds, so bring your closed-toed shoes and some gloves
VISTE
At VISTE, we will be helping beautify their distribution lot so people feel welcomed and valued when they arrive to get their needed items.
